HOME IN HEARTLANDIA TRILOGY BOOK #3 FALLING FOR THE MOM-TO-BE will hit stores on May 17th, and I couldn’t be happier. It is the final installment in the series spotlighting the small Scandinavian town on the banks of the Columbia River in Oregon and featuring Leif Andersen the rich town recluse and the lovely outsider mural painter Marta Hoyas.
KEEP CALM AND…HAVE A BABY?
Leif Andersen wants to be alone. Everyone in Heartlandia knows about his tragic past and they allow him to keep to himself. With his blue eyes and blond hair, the rugged workaholic contractor might be an “excellent catch.” But he has zero interest in being caught…until Marta Hoyas moves into his house while she is working for him.
Marta wants to be alone. Her baby‘s father dumped her. The last thing she needs is a romantic entanglement with a gorgeous guy who can offer no promises.
Leif and Marta want each other. All that stands between them is the past…and the future. And a little baby who could give them both what they need most!
Once again, I’ve received lovely praise from Romantic Times Magazine with this 4 1/2 star review:
“There are dark secrets and mysteries in Marshall’s excellent tale. Her storytelling wizardry shows in the depiction of her community’s diverse Scandinavian and Native American origins and present, dividing-lines turmoil. But it’s the couple’s emotional quagmire and subsequent relationship-building that rocks this read.”
Here is a banner for the trilogy (which wasn’t marketed or branded as a trilogy, though it definitely is a series!)
If you’d like a signed bookmark with this banner picture on it, and if you live in the United States, send me an e-mail with your address through my contact page and I’ll be glad to get one in the mail to you at the end of this month.
Until next time, make it a great one!
