I get to share my birthday each year with the U.S. Marines. Can I get a Semper Fi? Yes, November 10th is the 237th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps. (No, I’m not 237, but some mornings it sure feels like it.)
I was also very lucky growing up because the day after my birthday was always a day off school for a very good reason – Veteran’s Day – November 11th.
As a personal shout out to the U.S. Military who have always been there to uphold our country’s safety and to represent us throughout the world, I want to say THANK YOU!
Whenever there are hot spots in the world, our military shows up to do the hard job of defending, protecting, and serving.
Hats off to our guys and gals who sacrifice life and limb, and who watch over our best interests throughout the world.
I offer my humblest gratitude.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES!
And in honor of Veteran’s Day coming up, thank you:
Until next week, make it agreat one, and if you see a soldier buy them a coffee or pay for their lunch, or just say thanks for your service!
