The Hunks of Heartlandia!

The Final installment of the Falling_for_the_Mom_to_be_170Home in Heartlandia trilogy from Harlequin Special Edition is officially out in print and e-book.  I couldn’t be happier.  Each book features one of the gorgeous home grown boys from Heartlandia, Oregon (fictitious town that seems quite similar to Astoria)

The third installment FALLING FOR THE MOM-TO-BE  features Leif Andersen – The rich and powerful owner of the construction company in Heartlandia that built the City College in Heartlandia. He’s lost everything he loved, and lives like a ghost with his two dogs in the huge house he once built for his deceased wife.

When I write trilogies or bigger books, I work with story boards, and I thought you might like to see his section of the story board for –

First I’ll show the full story board to remind everyone about book #1 A Doctor for Keeps and book #2 Her Perfect Proposal

and remember Gunnar?Thomas Hardy  (The way I envisioned him when I wrote the book) He doesn’t look anything like the book cover does he?

Well, Leif may not look exactly like the guy on my current book cover, but he sure comes closer than either of the prior books, so yay for that!  However Marta doesn’t look at all the way I imagined her.  Notice who I’ve chosen on the storyboard.

Here’s an up close portion of Leif’s story board section.

So, what do you think?  Have you read any of the books?  I’ve been blessed with some wonderful reviews for this trilogy.  I hope, if you haven’t read any of these books, that you’ll consider giving them an up close look.  If you do, welcome to the Hunks of Heartlandia!  Are you ready to fall in love?

Until next time, make it a great one!

I love your storyboard. I always do a collage for each book. Always interesting to see how the creative/artistic side represents. 😉 I’ve read all three books in the Heartlandia series and enjoyed each one. I can’t say which was my favorite, as each one brought something different to the pages, yet you carried the mystery/intrigue throughout the three books. It was fun to explore a part of the country that I don’t know much about.

    • Hi Robena,
Yes, I’ve studied your storyboards whenever I come to your house for a visit. They always intrigue me. I don’t necessarily do storyboards for my single books (they’re much shorter and less involved than yours!) but when I write a series I must! It’s way too complicated to keep things straight otherwise.

Thanks for being my regular commenter. LOL
